A Fife neighbour-from-hell who was asked to keep the noise down responded by saying: “One phone call to the biker gang and you are missing in the morning”. Craig Suttie, 64, was said to have been boozing with friend Samantha Laird at her home before making the threat. The pair appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court to plead guilty to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner at the address in Fleming Crescent, Blairhall, on April 25 this year.

A young Fife driver may have been “showing off” when he lost control of his car and struck a wall, leaving himself and three passengers seriously injured. Grant Moffat’s vehicle was split in two in the horrific crash on the A955 near East Wemyss on the evening of October 1 2023. He ended up in hospital for about a month and his partner and two other friends in the car suffered multiple broken bones.

A Fife man who told a 999 call handler a takeaway delivery driver was going to “get his head shot off” during a racist rant has been given a community payback order. Leon Shepstone said he would be “kicking the f**k out of that p*ki little b*****d” if police did not show up within 10 minutes. He claimed he would go to the Peri-Licious takeaway in Cardenden and “start stabbing people”.

An “obsessed” Lochgelly man who sent unwanted Snapchat videos of his penis to a woman from an alias account later gave away his true identity. A trial heard Craig Wishart repeatedly told his victim he wanted to “worship” her and said she loved the fact he had a “c*** cage on”. He was found guilty of coercing a woman to look at a sexual image and communicating indecently with her on January 15 last year at his home in Sir James Black Gait.

A woman says she has been “let down” by the justice system after a lorry driver who ploughed into a broken-down horse box on the A9 near Perth, leaving her husband “nearly paralysed,” was spared jail. Lorry passenger Ashley Vandervis spent four months in three different hospitals and underwent nearly 20 hours of surgery following the crash caused by his co-driver, Justin Bower, at Cairnie Braes on August 24 2021.
