    ROCK FALLS − A 26-year-old woman is dead and a 22-year-old woman was arrested after a one-vehicle crash early Sunday morning in Lincoln County. Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash about 1:30 a.m. May 25 on State 107, south of Tug Lake Road, in the town of Rock Falls. The vehicle, which had three adult occupants, had been traveling north and collided with a tree after failing to negotiate a curve, according to a news release from the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office.

    Over 160 roosters and hens were seized from a suspected cockfighting operation in Clark County. Evidence found at the property included cages, sparring muffs and knives, indicating cockfighting activity, according to a news release. The seized birds were euthanized due to disease risk and lack of placement options. The Clark County Sheriff's Office is investigating the case and no arrests have been made yet.
