The University of Delaware’s Faculty Senate expanded educational access and opportunity through the approval of new academic degrees, certificates and pathways at its meeting on April 7. In total, the Senate approved 149 updates to undergraduate programs and 64 updates to graduate programs through the Consent Agenda and Regular Agenda.

Dr. Sawyer joined the Lerner College faculty in 1991 as an assistant professor of business administration, becoming an associate professor in 1995 and a full professor in 2002, when he was also given a joint appointment in the Department of Psychology and Brain Sciences. From 2001-6, he chaired the Department of Business Administration. Founding director of the Master of Science Program in Organizational Effectiveness, Development and Change in 2004-5, he directed the program again from 2007-12.

Kyle Evans Gay officially proclaimed Women’s History Month. The signing, held at the Delaware Women's Hall of Fame Portrait Gallery, currently on display at the University of Delaware, was more than just a ceremony.
