The bombing on April 19, 1995, killed 168 people, injured more than 850, and impacted thousands of Oklahomans, including the first responders who rushed to help. The physical trauma was obvious, but the emotional impact was difficult to calculate, according to psychologist Dr. Kathy Thomas.
