    PORTLAND, Ore. — Former West Linn High School star Aaronette Vonleh was drafted in the third round of the WNBA Draft on Monday, 31st overall to the Dallas Wings. Vonleh, who played her freshman season at Arizona and her sophomore and junior seasons at Colorado, transferred to Baylor for her senior year. She had a strong season, averaging 14.9 points and 5.8 rebounds while being named to the All-Big 12 second team. A 6-foot-3 center, she has career averages of 12.4 points and 4.7 rebounds.

The Blazers did not disclose terms of the deal. Oregon  (19-11) is a 10 seed and will play seventh-seeded Vanderbilt on Saturday in Durham, North Carolina in the Birmingham Regional. The time of the game and what channel it will be on have yet to be announced. The Ducks are led by guards Deja Kelly and Peyton Scott. Kelly averages 11.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.4 steals and Scott adds 10.1 points and 2.6 rebounds.

Blazers sure do have a type. 6-8 small forward out of France. Played for the G League Ignite before he was drafted. He worked out for the Blazers pre-draft in 2023.
