    INDIANAPOLIS — A child has died from from a shooting Thursday that police say was “likely accidental.”IMPD officers responded to a CVS near the intersection of 46th Street and Keystone Avenue on the north side of Indianapolis just before 3 p.m. There, they found a juvenile male lying outside of a car with a gunshot wound. The toddler was treated by officers at the scene before being transported to Riley Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

    INDIANAPOLIS — The final three defendants in the 2022 murder and kidnapping of Corbin Rogers have been convicted. Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears announced on Friday that a jury found Cristina Clark, Josselyn Johnson and D’Sean Bigbee Cummings all guilty of murder and two counts of kidnapping. Johnson was also convicted of the habitual offender sentencing enhancement and all three defendants will face the felony firearms enhancement at the sentencing hearing.

    INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Gov. Mike Braun and state lawmakers from both parties on Wednesday said a raft of laws passed this spring will lower health care bills. Braun held a ceremonial signing for 10 health care-related bills lawmakers approved during the 2025 session. Among them is a new law that requires health insurers to give a credit to any consumer who finds a health-related service for a cheaper rate than what the insurer charges.
