"The big part of the concerns is around the future of our city,” said Joey Algier. Nonprofit organization, The Water Collaborative, is sharing ideas for a revitalized water drainage system for New Orleans. Organization leaders say they have been proposing their recommendations to city leaders over the past five years. Their goal is to help create an improved drainage system that can avoid excessive flooding, especially in areas heavily impacted, like the Lower 9th Ward.

Thousands of people enjoyed Day 3 of Jazz Fest. Many fans say they secured their spots near the Main Stage hours in advance just to see Lil Wayne and The Roots perform. Award-winning rapper and New Orleans native Lil Wayne headlined Saturday of Jazz Fest. It was a special and electrifying moment as he took the stage in front of a crowd of thousands of supporters in his hometown. “He really brought it; it was explosive. Everyone knew all the words, and he really had the crowd going," said Trip Russ.

Several car dealership owners say they follow protocol and give customers car keys for a test drive, but some of those cars never come back. "They take the cars for a test drive and they don't come back,” said owner Nidal Zeitoun. Three cars were stolen off the lot of Kenner’s Auto Nation. “We're losing all the money, and it’s not fair,” said Zeitoun. Surveillance video from the car dealership shows a suspect stealing a red Hyundai.
