    LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The travel chaos unfolding at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) was felt Monday in Louisville. Officials at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) said two United Airlines flights between the two cities were canceled Monday as staffing shortages and construction continue to cause issues at Newark. About 75 flights destined for EWR were canceled as of 4 p.m. Officials at SDF warned more delays and cancelations could happen.

    GREEN BAY, Wis. — Tyler Shough's one season at the University of Louisville paid off. The 6-foot-5 quarterback was drafted Friday night by the New Orleans Saints with the No. 40 pick of the second/third round. He was the first Cardinal off the board. Shough battled injuries and the depth chart in previous stops at Oregon and Texas Tech. The 25-year-old was granted a seventh year of eligibility, which he spent at UofL in 2024.

    GREEN BAY, Wis. — Former Kentucky Wildcat Maxwell Hairston didn't have to wait long to hear his name called at the 2025 NFL Draft. Hairston was selected by the Buffalo Bills Thursday night with the No. 30 pick in the first round. He was one of the prospects invited to the green room in Green Bay. Hairston had a breakout season for the Wildcats in 2023. He finished tied for sixth in the nation with six interceptions, and returned two for touchdowns.
