Kent from Aurora writes, "What's Driving you crazy? East bound Jewell east of Gun Club has a new south side completed but not open. How much longer will we be restricted to two lane traffic when the road looks ready to open? That answer is something that even the City of Aurora isn’t exactly sure about just yet. The section of E Jewell Ave east of E-470 that is being expanded into a six lane arterial is between Gun Club Road and Harvest Road.

WESTMINSTER, Colo. — It's the final day of Westminster's second-annual Pothole Palooza and the city is going all out to patch up streets and keep drivers rolling smoothly. Running from April 14-17, the four-day event has mobilized Westminster's street crews across the city to fill potholes. Eight crews will respond to areas reported by Westminster residents or fill potholes they discover along the way.

Ron from Monument writes, “What’s driving you crazy? I saw a clip you did on U-turns. I live in the Monument area and on Baptist going west at Struthers/Jackson, if I’m in the very left lane and the signal light turns green, can I make a U-turn there? Monument police say no saying there is a left turn only arrow sign. My son received a $70 ticket.”The simple answer Ron is yes, you are allowed to make the U-turn even if there is a left turn only arrow or there is a ‘left lane MUST turn left’ sign.

As I reported a few months ago, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) has been considering several options regarding how I-25, and specifically those two bridges over the interstate between Colfax and Interstate 70 will look in the future. CDOT has decided on turning Speer Boulevard into a Diverging Diamond Interchange where drivers cross over and drive on the left side of the bridge.

Dave from Littleton writes, “What's driving you crazy? Why are the toll lanes on I-70 only open Friday to Sunday? They seem to be closed every Thursday and Monday I want to use it. I understand the need for occasional maintenance, but they are closed more than open. Maybe $3.00 on light traffic days would give them some revenue?”The I-70 Mountain Express Lanes, also known as the peak period shoulder lanes, operate in both directions of I-70 between Idaho Springs and Empire.

The traffic world is so up and down. An hour ago there was a crash on SB 25 at 104th. One lane was open and drive time was 60+ minutes. Now we are back to a pretty typical commute through there right now. https://t.co/mcoelMN1eI

OK... they just hooked up the car and towed it away. All lanes on SB 25 before 104th are now open but it will take a bit before traffic really starts moving better down from 144th. https://t.co/Le7ectUujd

This wreck up north on SB 25 before 104th feels strange. Lots of cops. No movement around the wreck cars. No tow trucks. This could linger for longer than we expect. https://t.co/PfqLH5KNVY
