MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - We are giving you the FIRST ALERT to a soggy Monday on tap. TONIGHTIt will be a nice night to grill out this evening with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds will be gradually increasing tonight. This will keep our temperatures warm tonight with overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s. In addition to the warmth, it will be breezy tonight with gusts between 15-25 mph.

Enjoy it while we have it we will see changes as we head into the weekend. TODAY If you can find time to get outside today, get outside. The humidity will be extremely low so it will feel absolutely beautiful outside. High temperatures this afternoon will sit in the low 80s for both the beaches and for inland spots. A mix of sunshine and clouds will be seen today.

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Due to swells from Hurricane Ernesto dangerous surf and strong rip currents are expected for this weekend. Even though Ernesto is hundreds of miles away, hurricanes can still create deadly rip currents. A high rip current risk is in place, this is when life-threatening rip currents are likely. For any swimmer, the surf zone will be dangerous and you should stay out of the water. A rip current is a powerful, channeled water flowing away from the shore.

(WMBF) - Debby continues to lift north through North Carolina but could swing occasional downpours our way through FridayOVERNIGHTWhile Debby continues to pull away from the area, its large area of circulation and abundant tropical moisture will maintain the risk of downpours. Expect the heaviest of the rain to focus near the Grand Strand overnight, where 1″ to 2″ of additional rainfall is possible. Most of this activity will clear by sunrise on Friday.
