The backstory: Farrier Michael Bennett specializes in caring for the hooves of horses and runs his own mobile educational programs in person and online. He says he was staying with his friend Jeremy in Lacey and their pets in the RV they were sharing when the fire broke out Sunday. In video taken of the fire, you can hear the anguish in Bennett's voice as he yells, "Oh my god, no," while the RV burns.

    An Auburn business went up in flames on April 8 while Kent police and other law enforcement officers were searching for a domestic violence suspect who they thought was hiding inside. They surrounded the business before the fire started, and initially thought he had died, later determining he wasn't in the building and was alive. What they're saying: With the business destroyed, an employee from the event space is sharing his memories from his time working there.

    A man in Puyallup says his home was targeted by potential thieves who, according to the victim, called police on themselves before breaking into his garage at around 10:15 p.m. Saturday night. In a strange twist, he says the men asked Puyallup Police to come to his home while he was gone. The group of men then allegedly told responding officers that something that belonged to them was in his garage. "I got a notification that one of my cameras went down," said Larrick Firkins of Puyallup.
