    Burlington, N.J. – Over the past five years, Burlington Stores Inc. has added more than $1.2 billion in total home category sales. The off-price retailer‘s home sales climbed 9.2% in the fiscal year ended Feb. 1 on top of 6.6% growth the previous year, according to the company’s 10K annual report filed with the SEC. Home sales rang in at more than $2.1 billion, marking a new milestone. Burlington first recorded more than $1 billion in home sales at the end of 2020.

    San Francisco – Lifestyle and fashion brand LoveShackFancy is getting bigger play across the Pottery Barn family of brands. The expansion includes new collections that build on customer reaction to the existing partnership with Pottery Barn Kids and Pottery Barn Teen and includes a debut collaboration with Pottery Barn.     Chesapeake, Va. – Dollar Tree Inc. plans to sell the Family Dollar business to a pair of firms that have been active in the “go-private” push at retail. Dollar Tree today announced that it has reached an agreement under which Brigade Capital Management and Macellum Capital Management will partner to acquire the Family Dollar business segment.

    New York - The home segment continues to contribute less and less to Macy's Inc. 's overall annual sales tally and last year fell to 15.2% of total merchandise revenue. Total sales in the Home/Other category rang in at $3.38 billion for the fiscal year ended Feb. 1, down 10.9% from sales in the previous fiscal year. "Other" in the category primarily includes restaurant sales, allowance for merchandise returns adjustments and breakage income from unredeemed gift cards.
