    A family trip to a Maryland beach ended with an appearance by an unexpected guest. Roxanne Flanagan took her kids to Spring Fest at Ocean City Beach on April 25, she told McClatchy News. Flanagan's mom wanted to take the kids to the water to dip their feet. That's when Flanagan's daughter reached to pick up what she thought was a stick. They were shocked when they saw it was actually a snake. Flanagan said the snake slithered toward them and she told her kids to get back so they wouldn't get bitten.
