The City of Austin is offering the Summer Playgrounds program as a solution. It is a free, drop-in program that begins June 10 - August 2, 2024 for children 5-12 years old. The program is Monday through Friday, from 9-5 p.m. Organizers say Summer Playgrounds is aimed at encouraging healthy living, character building and teamwork.
