Now they’re being rewarded for their hard work. They were just named Unit of the Year for the region.     DENVER (KDVR) — A year after he was seriously injured at the National Western Stock Show rodeo, a bareback rider has returned to say thank you to the medical team that came to his rescue. “I remember getting on my horse, getting everything ready, and then waking up in the hospital,” Austin Broderson told FOX31. Broderson came from Canada last year to compete in the bareback competition at the National Western.
