Residents north of Denver were also reporting a large power outage that impacted tens of thousands of people. According to Xcel Energy’s electric outage map, just before 11 a.m., nearly 30,000 people were impacted by 34 reported outages. These outages were in Westminster, Broomfield, Thornton and north of Northglenn.
