San Francisco’s private high schools are among the most expensive in the country, with tuition at the top range clocking in at more than $64,000. One of the key reasons many families decide to pay that high price is to ensure their children are prepared for a rigorous college education — and to help them get admitted into the most selective universities. However, there is no comprehensive data publicly available on how private schools perform on that mission.
