Sonoma County sheriff’s officials identified the 3-year-old boy who died last week in Petaluma after being crushed by a tractor that detectives suspect was driven by an intoxicated man. The child was identified as Ian De Jesus of Petaluma. De Jesus died Sunday after he ran into a field where a Bobcat tractor was operating at 3100 Skillman Lane around 12:35 p.m., according to California Highway Patrol officials. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man was arrested and charged on suspicion of stealing nearly $3,000 worth of merchandise from a Walgreens in San Francisco’s Noe Valley neighborhood in a months-long crime spree, authorities said Thursday. Marcel Criner, 57, allegedly stole retail merchandise on eight separate occasions from the drugstore on the 1300 block of Castro Street, which he was ordered to stay away from, police said.

The Jonas Brothers plan to perform two Northern California concerts this fall year as part of their 20th anniversary celebration, including a stop in San Francisco. The "Jonas20: Living the Dream" tour will kick off Aug. 10, in their home state of New Jersey, before hitting several stadiums throughout the U.S. The trio of Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas is scheduled for Chase Center on Sept. 25, before moving on to Golden 1 Center in Sacramento the next night, during the 43-date trek.
