Landing in jail can often be a dark place in someone's life. And crawling out of it is often a tough road. But a new program in Volusia County is hoping to make it easier. WESH 2 went inside the jail in Daytona Beach for the "Second Chance" job fair. It's a chance for non-violent inmates to meet, talk with employers and ultimately land jobs that will be waiting for them as soon as they get out of jail.

Collecting, organizing, and sharing the African American history of New Smyrna Beach is the mission of the Mary S. Harrell Black Heritage Museum. They're a small but mighty group telling the story of how the City's historically-Black Westside came to be. That history takes center stage inside their building on Duss Street. Sonya Hogan is a New Smyrna Beach resident and steward of the museum. She was born and raised in the neighborhood just north of A1A and U.S. 1. She still lives there.
