Some 600 beer delivery workers went on strike Tuesday in a dispute with a major beer distributor serving New York City and the surrounding area. Employees with the Laundry, Distribution, and Food Service Joint Board Workers United/SEIU, or LDFS Union, began their strike at four of five Manhattan Beer & Beverage Distributors (MBBD) locations.

NEW YORK CITY (WCBS/WLNY) -- Six people died when a helicopter crashed into the Hudson River Thursday afternoon. The incident happened at around 3:17 p.m. near the Holland Tunnel ventilation shaft in Jersey City, not far from River Drive South and Newport Parkway, near the Water's Soul sculpture. New York City Mayor Eric Adams said three adults and three children were killed, including a family of five from Spain and the pilot. Their bodies have been recovered, he said.

Click here for updates on this story NEW YORK (WCBS/WLNY) — A helicopter has crashed in the Hudson River, authorities said. The incident happened at roughly 3:15 p.m. Thursday. Multiple boats gathered could be seen gathering near Jersey City, not far from the Water’s Soul sculpture. A police helicopter was also on the scene. The FDNY confirms they are responding to the incident. Emergency responders were gathering on both sides of the river.
