LIBERTY, Ohio (WKBN) — One person has died following a home explosion in Liberty Township Saturday evening. Liberty police confirmed that Justin Braun, 34, died as a result of the explosion. Two other people, including a four-year-old boy, are critically injured. Liberty Fire Chief Douglas Theobald said they were called around 9:25 p.m. to a house on East Montrose Street for a fire, but when crews got there, they saw the house had exploded.

Just before 6 p.m., around 5,400 customers were without power, according to First Energy. As of 9:30 p.m., there are no more outages.
