They reported feeling their homes shake and even hearing some loud booms. "It kind of felt like a door slamming, like my heavy garage door slamming," Dacono resident Kyle Browski told Denver7. No injuries or damage have been reported.

    DENVER — The City of Denver is looking to change its career service rules to make it easier to lay off longtime employees. The proposed change comes as the city looks to address a $250 million budget deficit. On Wednesday, the Office of Human Resources submitted a notice to city employees about a June 18 hearing to change Career Service Rule 14. The changes would allow the city to lay off employees solely based on merit.

On Sunday afternoon, the Boulder chapter of Run For Their Lives held its weekly walk to bring attention to the Israeli hostages held in Gaza. The Boulder group walks every Sunday and planned to do so at 1 p.m. at the corner of 8th and Pearl streets.

The pause comes in response to a ruling by a three-judge panel from the U.S. Court of International Trade in New York, which concluded that Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs exceeded his authority and issued an injunction.
