Noblesville resident Roxana Snedeker plans to open The Chestnut Flower Stand next month. She will sell fresh, homegrown specialty cut flowers at the stand, which will be at 578 Chestnut St. in Noblesville. Snedeker began gardening during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. “I have a room in my house where I started a bunch of plants from seeds, and cut flowers was one of the main things that I started growing in the beginning,” Snedeker said.

A new restaurant, MJ Cuisine, opened for business June 1 at 20817 Hague Rd. in Noblesville. MJ Cuisine, owned by Noblesville resident Mohsin Musallam, serves carry-out only. The menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes, including butter chicken, shish kabobs, fried rice and breakfast croissants. It also sells a variety of beverages, including smoothies, milkshakes and boba tea.

Noblesville Main Street’s fourth annual Magic of the Square event returns to downtown Noblesville from 5 to 9 p.m. June 20. And this year, there will be more to see and do. NMS Executive Director Kate Baker said the event, presented in partnership with Nickel Plate Heritage Railroad, Noblesville Parks & Recreation and the Noblesville Mill Top Banquet and Conference Center, will feature a carnival, live music, street magicians and a makers market, among other attractions.
