Hartman Rock Garden, Springfield: As the Great Depression took hold, Ben Hartman began assembling a rock-garden masterpiece behind his Springfield home. Built between 1932 and 1939, the art installation reflects American history, Hartman’s interests and plenty of whimsy. The work of art ultimately fell into disrepair until the Kohler Foundation stepped up in 2009 to help fund its revival.

A lot of movies are made in Cleveland, but not a lot of movies are both made and set in Cleveland. I can think of one off the top of my head, “Draft Day,” but that’s part of the playbook when the film’s main character works in the Cleveland Browns’ front office. Even Ralphie Parker of “A Christmas Story” — arguably the city’s most famous on-screen resident — lived in the town of Hohman, Indiana, in that movie.

The Cure gets it … $100 w/ fees for a great ticket. Radiohead did the same thing on their last tour. Realize all bands could do this if they wanted to. #TheCure @thecure

Because no one asked me nor cares what I think, the 2023 #rockhall inductees should be Joy Division/New Order, Soundgarden, A Tribe Called Quest, Warren Zevon, Cyndi Lauper and Kate Bush.
