Law enforcement got busy during the last full week of April in Bowie County, Texas, up 41 arrests from the previous week. Sheriff Jeff Neal says a total of 115 people were arrested for various crimes around the county. Bowie County deputies arrested 39, other LEOs brought in 76. They said it would take about a year to complete this phase of construction on I-30 and it looks like they hit that target pretty close. After nearly a year of construction detours, eastbound traffic on Interstate 30 in Texarkana will soon return to the main lanes near State Line Avenue. According to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the shift back to the main lanes will take place tonight, Monday, April 28.
