A former Bucks County family therapist accused of secretly recording women using his office bathroom is facing more criminal charges after authorities identified more than a dozen new victims. The Bucks County District Attorney’s Office initially charged Jonathan Elliot Moyer, 55, of Lehigh County, with illegally filming four of his patients using hidden cameras, but another 17 victims were subsequently discovered, according to the DA.

A Bristol Township man has admitted he lied to a Bucks County grand jury about who killed a 21-year-old Bristol Township man in 2020. In a brief court appearance by video May 30, 29-year-old Quashaad James pleaded guilty to felony charges of perjury and false swearing charges in the murder of Shaquille Love. Bucks County Common Pleas Judge Wallace Bateman Jr. accepted the plea and sentenced him to 18 months to six years in state prison.

A Quakertown woman was found unresponsive in her room at Belle Terrace Nursing Home. A Quakertown man is accused of providing drugs to a woman recovering from a foot injury that led to her fatal overdose last year. Ramon Segarra, 58, is facing a half dozen felony charges including drug delivery resulting in death, conspiracy, and related misdemeanors.

HILLTOWN – A former Pennridge PTO official faces nearly a dozen felony charges for allegedly forging organization checks made out to herself and her boyfriend totaling more than $20,000. It is not the first time she has been accused of stealing money, according to court records. She was convicted in 2011 of embezzling more than $400,000 from her employer.
