    Lower Makefield police are investigating two reports that Pennsbury elementary school employees improperly restrained and pushed children in autism support programs in separate incidents this month. Lower Makefield Police Chief Joseph Kelly III confirmed Thursday that detectives were notified last week a staff member at Edgewood Elementary allegedly used an improper restraint to remove and escort a child off a school van.

    The Centennial school board appears to be positioning itself to hire former Central Bucks School District Superintendent Abram Lucabaugh at its meeting later this month, the Bucks County Intermediate Unit announced Thursday. The board will vote on an employment contract for Lucabaugh, 52, of Quakertown, at its regular May 27 meeting, according to the IU. The district will hold a community forum to introduce Lucabaugh on May 22.
