Sheffield Wednesday assistant, Henrik Pedersen, has been named as a ‘favourite’ for a position at Danish club, Aalborg. Pedersen, who will see his contract at Hillsborough expire in a couple of weeks’ time, is well-respected in football circles for the work that he’s done as part of the Red Bull franchise and as a coach, and his name has been mentioned when it comes to Danny Röhl replacements at S6 should the German end up moving on.

It was also announced that Wednesday are appealing it.

The Star reported on Tuesday that – after advice from local authorities – there was a strong possibility that it might not go ahead amid growing unrest over the ownership of Dejphon Chansiri, and now that news has been announced by the Owls, just 10 days before it was due to happen.

The latest as I have it on Caelan-Kole Cadmarteri is that #SWFC have now given permission for Man City to open up talks with him and his family. £1.5m-ish. The decision will be in the player’s hands. Nothing finalised yet, but it’s getting closer. https://t.co/PPe68s8Uqt
