The Star, commonly referred to as the Sheffield Star, is a daily newspaper that serves the Sheffield area in England, published from Monday to Saturday. It started as a broadsheet but transitioned to a tabloid format in 1993. The Star, along with the weekly Sheffield Telegraph and the Green 'Un, is produced by Sheffield Newspapers Ltd, which is owned by JPIMedia and located at The Balance on Pinfold Street in Sheffield City Centre. This newspaper is aimed at readers in South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire, and North Nottinghamshire, offering both a main edition and a district edition specifically for Doncaster.
