    The San Francisco Police Department on Thursday said officers arrested a man suspected of shooting and killing a 19-year-old in a Mission District home last Friday. The suspect, 21-year-old Trayvon Williams, was arrested in Novato on Wednesday by officers from the SFPD, the Novato police department, and the Marin County SWAT team, according to the SFPD. He was taken into custody and booked into San Francisco jail on May 7 at 11:44 p.m., according to jail records.

    San Francisco police officers arrested a suspect after a fatal shooting at the edge of the Tenderloin on Monday afternoon — San Francisco’s fifth homicide of the year. At 5:29 p.m., San Francisco police officers came to the corner of Turk and Mason streets, near the Powell BART station, responding to reports of a shooting. They found a victim “suffering from a gunshot wound” and rendered aid, according to the department. Medics were called, but the victim was declared dead on-site.
