    SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah Christian baseball team advanced to the Class 3A-A Private state semifinals with a win over Greater Atlanta Christian, 9-7, on Thursday. Savannah Christian received some help from the visitors to get on the board in the bottom of the second. With runners on second and third, Christian attempted a squeeze play. However, the batter missed the ball and the runner on third was caught in a pickle when the catcher threw down to third base.

    SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Savannah Arts Academy girls’ soccer team advanced to the Class AA state championship game after defeating Morgan County, 3-2. Savannah Arts got a suprising goal early. They shook the back of the net less than a minute into the contest. The scored was knotted at one at halftime. In the second half, Savannah Arts built a two-goal thanks to Amelia Reci goal. However, Morgan County scored with 12 minutes remaining, but was not able to find the equalizer.

    SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Calvary Day baseball team is headed to its second consecutive state semifinals after sweeping Providence Christian Academy on May 8 at Islands High School. The first game ended in dramatic fashion. With the game knotted at two, Carter Hamption from Calvary Day deliver a walk-off single for a 3-2 victory. In the second game, Calvary Day pitcher Cutter Powell was dominant. The senior pitched a complete game. He only allowed six hits and one earned run in a 7-1 victory.
