It is based in Savannah, Georgia, and serves the Coastal Empire of southeastern Georgia as well as the Lowcountry of southern South Carolina. The station is owned by Gray Television, which is headquartered in Atlanta. WTOC-TV's studios are situated on Chatham Center Drive in the Chatham Parkway area of Savannah, while its transmitter can be found along Fort Argyle Road/SR 204 in an unincorporated part of Chatham County.

Savannah awarded $125,000 grant to expand nutrition access

The funding is from the African American Mayors Association and in partnership with the American Beverage Foundation. The City of Savannah says the money will go to local initiatives that promote access to healthy foods, improve nutrition education and address affordability in underserved communities.
One dead after stabbing at Hinesville apartment complex

HINESVILLE, Ga. (WTOC) - Hinesville Police are investigating a homicide after a stabbing on Pineland Avenue early Thursday morning. Officers responded to the Royal Oaks Apartments around 2 a.m. Thursday. Officers say they found a man lying facedown on the ground. The man had multiple stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The victim has been identified as Gryan Ward. No arrests have been made at this time.
