Welcome back to Canines & Crosstreks! Meet Lee Lee!Yes, we are back to the cute little white puppies again! Lee Lee is grateful for a second chance. She is a 1-year-old Yorkie-Poodle mix who was surrendered back in February. When she came to the SPCA, she had no hair, was emaciated, covered in fleas, and needed an emergency blood transfusion.

Steuart Pittman has been the Anne Arundel County Executive since December 2018. We first met him on the campaign trail when we interviewed him across his dining room table at his Davidsonville home. And again after he first got the keys to the Arundel Center, And again, mid-way through his first term. Now after winning a second term in office, we wanted to catch up and see how it is going. What has worked for the past 7 years, what has not, and what to expect from him in the next 18 months .

And today, he joins us in advance of his Rams Head Presents show at Maryland Hall on May 17th. We chat about the beginnings, his mentors, and the bouquet of forget-me-nots he promised to send me when I lost track of what I was thinking.

Sure, the department is an arm of the County Government, but the IAFF Local 1563 is the Union that collectively bargains for their pay and benefits, makes sure that they are staffed safely, and they are getting the support they need.

Pixie is just recovering from a procedure, hence the cone of shame, but she is an adorable 6-month-old Bischon Frise- Shih Tzu mix! Or as Billy likes to say, a Bisciht! She is a happy-go-lucky girl who REALLY wants to be with a loving human.
