It was a rollercoaster day for McIlroy, who entered Sunday with a three-shot lead, built it to five on the second nine, but fell from the top of the leader board after playing No. 13 and No. 14 in +3.

The term refers to golfers who made the 36-hole cut trying to get themselves into position on the leader board to win on Sunday. Justin Rose of England (-7), the 2013 U.S. Open champion and 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist, enters the day with a one shot lead after carding a 71 on Friday.
