CLOSE INDIANAPOLIS–A man was killed in a shooting on the southwest side of Indianapolis Thursday afternoon. IMPD says were called to the intersection of Morris Street and Hiatt streets around 1:30 p.m., which is in a residential area between Belmont Avenue and South Harding Street. They found a man with a gunshot wound near a bus stop. He was rushed to a hospital but later died. One person was detained at the scene.
