If you're like me and was fascinated by the TV show Twin Peaks, no doubt you recognize this iconic waterfall. In the TV show it's the Great Northern but here in Washington we know it as Snoqualmie Falls. The Great Northern hotel, itself, is Salish Spa and Lodge, a luxury hotel that has rooms in the $500+ a night range. Super fancy but would make a great getaway. Fortunately, you don't need to book a room to visit this scene from Twin Peaks and get a nice view of Snoqualmie Falls.

I was driving through North Bend the other day when I figured I'd grab something for the road since I still had a couple-hour drive ahead of me on my way back to Yakima. In lieu of hitting up a standard drive-thru I figured I'd find a spot that we don't have here in Yakima to explore what all is out there. Of course I know Twede's Cafe known as the 'Double R' in Twin Peaks and I do love that place, but that's a place I want to sit and enjoy, not necessarily eat on the road.

Another day, another recall, am I right? This one can be a little scary as it deals with your young ones at home. It's one thing to have a candy bar taken off the shelf for any reason or even snacks that have 'undeclared allergens' like if something contains milk when it's not listed on the package. This time it's something that you may be feeding your baby. ABC News is reporting a voluntary recall on a baby food sold at Target stores in WA and across the nation.

The good people at OREO have a new flavor that seems to be inspired by the springtime breeze in Japan. OREO Cherry Blossom Matcha. A combination of the sweet and floral flavor of cherry blossoms with the smooth and earthy notes of matcha. I'm curious enough to want to try these. And I love the fact that these are the OREO Thin variety. I love the thins. The interesting thing about these OREO cookies is that they're not found on store shelves or even online.

What is your go-to order at McDonald's? To some it may be a simple cheeseburger, fries, and drink. To others, perhaps a Big Mac to go, and an occasional shake or McFlurry. Maybe you only go through the drive-thru on your way to work so you're more knowledgeable about the breakfast menu more than any one. For kids, it's always the Happy Meal. Some adults will also just get a Happy Meal every time. It helps keep them young.
