CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — Pierpont Community and Technical College held its 2025 commencement ceremony at the Robinson Grand Performing Arts Center Friday evening, celebrating about 180 graduates as they walked across the stage to receive their diplomas. FAIRMONT, W.Va. (WV News) — Earlier this week, the City of Fairmont opened the application process for the $626,159 it received in opioid settlement funding. Organizations that apply for the funding must directly or indirectly work with individuals or communities impacted by the opioid epidemic. Those who work directly with people impacted by the epidemic can request up to $100,000, while those who work indirectly with impacted communities can request up to $50,000.
