    • ABC has ordered a pilot for "RJ Decker," based on Carl Hiaasen's novel "Double Whammy," to be filmed in Wilmington. • The pilot, about a photojournalist turned private investigator in South Florida, will be written by Rob Doherty and directed by Paul McGuigan. • This production is welcome news for Wilmington film crews, who have experienced a slow 2025. • While the pilot is filming in Wilmington, a full season's location is yet to be determined.
