MILL TOWNSHIP ‒ The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released a preliminary report on a small plane crash that claimed the life of a Tuscarawas County man on April 1. Orville J. Evans, 62, of New Philadelphia died of blunt trauma with thermal injury after his Cessna 310Q fixed-wing, multi-engine plane, crashed in a farm field off of State Dam Road in Mill Township.
