The Times-Reporter is a daily newspaper based in New Philadelphia, Ohio, published every morning of the week. It is part of GateHouse Media's portfolio. This publication was formed in 1968 when The Daily Times of New Philadelphia merged with The Daily Reporter from Dover, Ohio. Its main coverage areas are New Philadelphia and Dover, but it also serves various communities in Tuscarawas County, including Baltic, Bolivar, Dennison, Gnadenhutten, Newcomerstown, Strasburg, Sugarcreek, Tuscarawas, and Uhrichsville, as well as some regions in Carroll, Coshocton, Harrison, Holmes, and Stark counties. In April 2007, GateHouse Media took ownership of The Times-Reporter from Copley Press. The Times-Reporter is affiliated with three other GateHouse newspapers in Northeast Ohio: the daily publications The Independent in Massillon and The Repository in Canton, along with the weekly The Suburbanite covering southern Summit County.

Official toll notices are sent by mail, though Reliant Capital Solutions may send legitimate text messages regarding unpaid tolls on behalf of the Ohio Attorney General.

    Before 1949, it was illegal to manufacture or sell yellow margarine in Ohio. A citizen initiative brought an end to the ban, with residents voting overwhelming in favor of yellow margarine. The hottest issue on the ballot in the Buckeye State during the Nov. 8, 1949, general election was whether or not Ohioans should be allowed to purchase colored margarine. Since 1887, colored margarine had been banned in Ohio on behalf of the state's dairy industry.

    UHRICHSVILLE − Work is progressing on a major project by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to replace the concrete pavement at the busy McCauley Drive intersection in Uhrichsville. Motorists should expect some delays while work is being done. One traffic lane will be maintained on U.S. 250 in both directions at this location with an 11-foot width restriction. Concrete will also be replaced on the westbound off ramp from U.S. 36 to U.S. 250. A short-term closure will occur on the off ramp.

    Horizons of Coshocton has opened a new office at 603 Main St. It's larger with space for training and is in a more visible area than the previous location. Horizons provides a variety of services to those with developmental disabilities so they can live independently in homes. There are 12 clients and 45 staff members in Coshocton. COSHOCTON − Conner Moran first came to Horizons as a shy 13-year-old who needed around-the-clock care by two staff members.
