All of Spokane’s residential streets will get plowed, the city of Spokane announced Thursday, after four days of snow piled 6 inches or more around Spokane. It’s the first full city plow of this winter season. The city is asking residents to park on the side of the street with odd-numbered addresses to create more room for plows, according to a city news release.

After a couple days of soaking rain, the weather in the Inland Northwest is expected to shift. Greg Koch, National Weather Service meteorologist, said conditions for driving, including over the passes, should be decent by the middle of next week for Thanksgiving. “Our region will get a chance to dry out a bit,” Koch said. After many months of dry conditions, November has been soggy in Spokane.

Nov. 20—The shallow covering of snow Spokane received overnight melted quickly as temperatures rose Wednesday. Spokane International Airport received 1.2 inches of snow before snow changed to rain about 8:15 a.m. in Spokane, said Valerie Thaler, National Weather Service meteorologist. Some areas north of Spokane received 1.5 to 3 inches of snow. Many areas south of downtown received less than an inch.

Yeah, but there isn't data to show what happens after a two-term incumbent in that office gets rejected by nearly 3/4 of voters. I'd point to the 2006 election of Bonnie Mager against Phil Harris to note that when voters turn on an incumbent, they might be open to the unexpected.
