As the music draws nearer, another sound – that of feet pounding in rhythmic unison – accompanies. With bouncing curly wigs, colorful costumes and swift footwork, a group of dancers creates a mesmerizing display as they jig their way down the street.

Walk into Joe Dooling’s office on any given day and his desk is littered with upwards of 16 different newspapers from across Montana. He explained that it’s the only way he can keep up with everything going on in the state. And with being involved in as many things as Dooling is, staying current is critical. Dooling was raised on a ranch in Dillon along the Beaverhead River. It was there he first cultivated a love of agriculture and the great outdoors.

Together with her Spur creative marketing group, Baker helps create clear and memorable brands for local businesses. Baker attended the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles and graduated in 2004 with a degree in fine art illustration and graphic design.
