CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A man who ran from Corpus Christi police after a traffic stop Saturday was shot and hospitalized during his attempted escape. According to Corpus Christi Police Chief Mike Markle, officers attempted to make the traffic stop at around 10:45 p.m. at the HEB on Saratoga. CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A city of Corpus Christi Solid Waste Truck is being blamed for a strong gas odor spread throughout the city. City officials tell 3NEWS that’s because the truck was leaking a chemical known as mercaptan into the garbage compartment. The chemical is added to natural gas to give it a smell.
