MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Amuse Adventure Museum officially opens its doors to the public Friday after receiving tons of excitement about it on social media. “I hate when people say there’s nothing to do in Memphis, there’s so much to do in Memphis,” part owner Keith Edwards said. Edwards says the new attraction is a kid's paradise. The social gaming facility is filled with 35 different interactive games and challenges that can be played by two to seven people at a time.

He teaches dance at KIPP Memphis and is using the art of dance as a way to connect with his students. He posted a video of him teaching his students Memphis Jookin and it’s been circulating the internet, as he's getting lots of praise for the bond he’s been able to build with the children.

GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — For just over 50 years, the Germantown Community Theater has not only provided funny and sometimes drama filled performances, but real opportunities for aspiring authors and actors. “We don’t have a whole lot of theaters whose building is as old as this one in the community,” Germantown Community Theater Executive Director Marcus Brown said. Emily Draffen is a local Mid-South author with dreams of writing and directing. “I like trying to write comedy,” Draffen said.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — This is the last weekend people can stop by the Arkwings Foundation to see their new exhibit Boys to Men. The exhibit is also part of the Orange Mound Gallery. Art Curator Lurlynn Franklin says she’s on a mission to change society's view of black men. Her newest exhibit features artists who bring awareness to racial profiling. The exhibit is currently showing in Frayser and is made up of all black male artist with different styles.
