CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The City of Beeville held a meeting Wednesday night with the board of water supply district abut the their next steps for finding viable water sources. This as our combined lake levels inch lower and lower, leaving city leaders wondering how to push through. Beeville City Manager John Benson was present at Wednesday's meeting, where council supported the need for more wells citing the city's growing demand.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A Corpus Christi start-up company is taking discarded plastics off the beach and repurposing them into fishing lures. It's an initiative that is both environmentally friendly, and gives back to those who frequent the beach in a positive way. Save the Wave Tackle Owner Andrew Crane said the idea started as a class project back when he attended Texas A&M University Corpus Christi. He said since then he's been able to cast a broader net.
