    Twelve days after being indefinitely postponed, Vanderbilt Student Government’s Dinner with the Chancellor was canceled today. Both changes were made by Student Affairs. VSG Programming Director Leo Huang, a junior, emailed selected students today informing them of the cancelation after VSG tried identifying alternative dates for the event.

    Vanderbilt selected alumnus Aubrey. B Harwell, Jr. (BA ‘64, JD ‘67), to review the university’s response to the Kirkland Hall sit-ins, including the arrest of Nashville Scene reporter Eli Motycka and the university’s media access policies. The university did not immediately respond to The Hustler’s request for comment on whether the review would include the suspensions of all and arrests of some student protestors. Harwell, Jr., is a founding member of Nashville-based Neal & Harwell PLC.

    One day after students forcibly entered Kirkland Hall, Vanderbilt Student Government’s March 28 Dinner with the Chancellor was postponed today by the university. The students were protesting the university’s cancellation of a VSG BDS constitutional amendment and entered Kirkland Hall — the location of Diermeier’s office — to attempt to meet with him and reinstate the vote. VSG Programming Director Leo Huang, a junior, emailed selected students on March 27 informing them of the change.

I visited with my parents, as a sort of homecoming tour for my mom who had not been back since she graduated high school in Brussels. I visited places like the Grand Place, the St. Hubert Galleries, the European Union Parliament and took a cruise in the canals of Amsterdam.
