Time at home, travel and the Zeppos Tower sum up the winter season for our Photography Section staffers. Mar 5, 2025 From the break between semesters to a January snow day back on campus and everything in between, saying hello to spring is as bittersweet as the goodbye to winter. This winter break, I traveled to Japan with my family. I spent several days in Kyoto visiting temples and shrines. Luckily, it was not peak tourism season. The city was beautiful and quiet, waiting for its first snow.

Vanderbilt athletics have their ups and downs as Commodores get ready for the end of school year. 10 minutes ago BaseballVandyBoys hosted three more home series on the Hawk against Missouri Tigers, Florida Gators and Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Commodores swept the Tigers, dropped one against the Gators and were upset by the unranked Bulldogs. They currently have an 11-11 record in conference play and are 32-14 overall.

The Commodores go strong halfway through the baseball season and conclude the basketball season with mixed results. 5 minutes ago Men’s BasketballMen’s basketball concluded its season after its last road game against No.15 Kentucky on March 5. Finishing with 4-14 in conference play and 9-23 overall, the Commodores had a rough season of basketball, ending with a second-to-last standing in the SEC.
