Sweden is a warning sign right now in regards to EV's. Economy is getting better, rates are down, EV models are increasing and getting better, we have the infrastructure etc. But regisration of EV's are stagnant and even falling. Right now only ~10 % of our fleet are EV's. Have we reached a saturation point, where the "other" 90% wont get an EV until we see amything close to price parity ? Mobility Sweden calls for handouts, but that path is closed.

Or follow us on Google News!Prologis and Maersk just launched an EV charging depot that will be able to charge up to 96 heavy-duty electric trucks at the same time. Performance Team, which is part of Maersk, will be using a fleet of Volvo VNR Electric trucks at the depot. These are tractor trailers with a range of about 240 miles per charge and they can recharge to about 80% in 90 minutes.

BEVs alone took almost 90% share. Overall auto volume was 9,750 units, 50% down YoY, and the lowest March in 15 years. The Tesla Model Y was again Norway’s best selling vehicle. March saw combined EVs take 91.5% share in Norway, comprising 89.3% full electrics (BEVs) and 2.2% plugin hybrids (PHEVs).

Nio was one of the first companies to start building battery swapping stations in China. Last year it new ones, bringing the total to 2,300. In all, it has completed more than 30 million battery swaps, including 430,000 in one week! It is also building battery swap stations in Norway.

Hi David, thanks good article covered all the bases well. I was one of the lucky ones to pick up my M3 before the end of the year and get the rebate. The Tesla staff were working pretty hard but many people missed out ! I do not think we will have a sense of the change for a few months. NZ market is quite small and the timing of one ship from Tesla/MG/BYD can skew the Market significantly.
