So you want a complete traffic jam? FF Buses are not efficient and a major health problem especially in cities. What most places need are 4-20 passenger pods, wire or FSD guided running set routes most everywhere 24-7-365 that are much cheaper to build, run/passenger. I built my EVs simply because they were so much faster, always available and cost 25% as much. Plus mine could tow 1k lbs. I do agree on taxi, delivery vans should be EV, but taxis are hardly affordable transport.

Toyota has always just been an ICE manufacturer impersonating a green manufacturer. The hydrogen project was so small it was fully funded by California CARB credits, and with literally hundreds of hydrogen car sales, the board could completely ignore the project, as a nano-tech project with No Effect on Toyota gas sales. Toyota is still a majority ICE manufacturer. The Prius was a We-Hate-You green car too.

Recharging an EV battery while in motion is more convenient than pulling off to find a public charging station. EVs equipped for road-embedded wireless charging might also be more economical, because they could log more miles with a smaller battery pack.
