According to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, roughly three out of every 10 men released from a state prison will be back behind bars for a new criminal conviction within three years. One group is hoping to reduce recidivism by giving the formerly incarcerated a place to thrive. Michael Pagan knows this all too well. For him, life is finally coming into focus.
