College applications for regular admission on the Common App are due Jan. 1, 2024, making this holiday break a stressful time for high school seniors. The application is long and, for many, can be overwhelming. Like a lot of his classmates at Elkhorn High School, senior Kevin Polk is preoccupied these days with getting his college applications submitted on time. “Especially when you’re applying to so many schools,” Polk said.
