She’s accused of the 2014 murder for hire of her former son-in-law, FSU professor Dan Markel.

    LEON COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - A Cairo man, who is a U.S. citizen, plans to sue Florida Highway Patrol after being arrested under Florida’s new immigration law. Court documents show 20-year-old Juan Lopez-Gomez was taken into custody by FHP troopers on April 16, after he and two other men were stopped for speeding soon after crossing into Florida on Highway 319 in Leon County. Lopez-Gomez was a passenger in the car.
